Black and Blum, the co-founders, met while studying industrial design at Northumbria University and founded the company in 1998, based in London, one of the world's most diverse and creative cities.

Black+Blum's product range includes reusable and leak-proof bottles, food containers designed to last, and leak-proof and food-safe thermoses. All their lunch boxes are BPA and BPS-free, using quality food-safe materials to prevent the leaching of harmful chemicals.

While some of their lunch boxes are 100% leak-proof, others are designed more for dry foods. Not all lunch boxes come with cutlery, but Black+Blum offers a reusable and portable cutlery set as an accessory.

The Leakproof Glass Lunch Box is a modern food container with a stainless-steel screw-tight lid that ensures a completely leak-proof seal. The glass lunch pot is encased in a protective wood-fiber base container to keep food insulated and protected. The silicone lid has a steam vent, allowing for easy reheating in the microwave.

The container is lightweight with drop-safe glass, and it is safe for use in the freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. The wood-fiber base is made from polypropylene and 30% FSC-certified wood, making it durable and microwave-friendly. The stainless-steel lid is not meant for microwave use.
